It has been way too long since I have updated my blog, and all I can say is that I don't remember any other time in my life being as busy as I am right now. I have been working on house projects (painting, decorating, etc., and someday, if I can ever accomplish all that I have set out to do on this house that is only mine for another 18 months I will post pictures), taking care of sick kids, and doing lots and lots of church stuff (more on that in another post...) Amidst all of these things though, Charlotte and I have been spending a little girl time doing girl things...building car tracks, throwing balls, talking about "poo-poo," and playing a little dress-up.
She was hilarious walking around, strutting her stuff, but for some reason my camera (which I love and hate equal parts) couldn't quite capture it all. So, for now I have so-so pictures of Charlotte trying to be a real girl, and one great picture of what happens when mommy and the camera walk away:
Exit Bow, Enter Hat.

That dress is great, but the shoes really put it over the top -- fabulous. Great choice, as opposed to the traditional "princess stuff". Glad you included the hat picture, too! :)
I love the outfit! I would have bought one too!
oh i am in love. that girl is so stinking cute and those bangs are so ooo lala. those shoes, seriously - that is best "dress up" get up ever to exhist!

Char Char is by far my favorite White granddaughter. Especially since she prefers me over Nana. Don't make her grow up too fast! - Grandad
I love the hat and dress combo...that is a great sign of superstar athlete to come for sure!
Nice. Yea for girls that don't know how to be girly!! Transformers are SO much cooler than Barbies.
she is so cute... and I love that she's girly, and masculine!!! Can't get any better than that... she is getting so big too... it's good your busy, then you know you got stuff going on!!!
Simply adorable. The shoes really do make the outfit. Although...the hat came in a close 2nd. I can just picture her strutting her stuff. So dang cute!!! I can't wait for the pictures of all your projects!! I need some ideas to copy!
I CANNOT get over that outfit...especially the shoes! This is one outfit you'd better keep and NOT take to the thrift store.
